As the colder weather sets in, fashion fiends search for new ways to stay warm. Over the knee socks seem to be the perfect solution. They have flocked the Fall/Winter 2010 runways and can be seen accessorizing the legs of celebrities on the streets. Patterned socks such as the ones worn by Sarah Jessica Parker and Rihanna above can liven up any winter outfit. Sheer socks as seen on the Proenza Schouler runway adds a sexy silhouette. However, my favorite approach to thigh high socks is to add a little playful, flirtatious attitude to an outfit similar to the Christian Dior socks above. Every time I’m in the mall (which has been a lot since its Christmas shopping time) I’ve scoured the shelves and racks of stores for thigh high socks. So far I’ve purchased three pairs and cannot wait to experiment with them on the streets! MUST ROCK SOCKS!
